The North West Region is one of the world's last true wilderness areas. The Kimberley with its awesome landscape covers an expanse of nearly 423,000 square kilometres.

Broome
Broome is characterized by the contrasting red desert, clear blue seas and kilometers of white beaches. Eighty Mile Beach
Eighty Mile Beach is located between the popular towns of Broome & Port Hedland. It is a relaxing detour away from the stress of busy towns & cities, perfect for walking, fishing & enjoying the brilliant sunsets.
The beach itself acts as a natural wetland & feeding ground for migratory birds and for this reason has had little to no cultural developments leaving it one of WA's more magnificent natural wonders.
Fitzroy Crossing
Fitzroy Crossing is an aptly named town. The original town was established at a place where travellers could cross the mighty Fitzroy River. The new town site is located on the riverbank out of wet season flood levels.
Not far from Fitzroy Crossing is Geikie Gorge. An ancient limestone reef approximately 350 million years old has been carved by the Fitzroy River to create Geikie Gorge. The yellow, orange and grey of the steep gorge walls mirrored in the river create a stunning picture.
Karijini National Park
Karijini National Park forms part of the Hamersley Ranges found in North West Australia. Approximately 1,055km north of Perth you will find this spectacular natural attraction.
Famous for its rugged, sheer, subterranean gorges, crystal cool swimming hools and magnificant waterfalls Karijini National Park offers a number of memborable activities to visitors.
There are a number of walk trails for the keen hikers ranging from beginner to advanced paths. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the diverse range of fauna and flora that surround Karijini.
Karratha
Karratha has grown to more than a town just servicing the mining communities of the Pilbara. It is an ideal base to explore some of the many great attractions of the region including the Dampier Archipelago, Chi Chester Millstream National Park, Karijini National Park and Burrup Peninsula.
Kununurra
The gateway to the East Kimberley, Kununurra is surrounded by an ancient landscape that leaves visitors in a sense of awe at the natural attractions sheer beauty and history.
From Kununurra why not take in some of the sensational barramundi fishing available, book a flight over the Mitchell Falls and the unforgettable Bungle Bungle Range and take a boat trip on Lake Argyle.
Port Hedland
Port Hedland provides a much needed port facility for the resource rich Pilbara region. Drop into the Visitor Centre to find out when the next iron ore ships are due in port and watch out for the long trains bringing the iron ore to port.
Its coastal location means Port Hedland is a great location to indulge in fishing, whale watching and crabbing.
Tom Price
Commonly known as the 'oasis in the Pilbara' Tom Price is considered to be the jewel of inland Pilbara.
