CAMPFIRE ESCAPES TAG A LONG TOURS – Sands of ‘D’ Entrecasteaux – 5th to 7th December 2014
December 5, 2014 - December 7, 2014
We have joined the very best from 2 of our most popular tours for this helter skelter ride through some of the most magnificent sand dune country Australia has to offer.
From a Blackwood River campsite we travel to Black Point, then along the Wapet Track to Lake Jasper for a swim in the South West’s largest fresh water lake. From there we head to the Yeagarup Dunes and then wind down sand tracks to the mouth of the Warren River. We explore the D’Entrecasteaux National Park and enjoy a relaxing drive along the beach to the mouth of the Warren River.
Sand driving can be a real challenge, but with experts on hand if you need them, all you need to do is enjoy the views and some wonderful beach driving. You will need to bring a tyre pump and pressure gauge along for this trip as we shall be dropping tyre pressures to tackle the sand dunes.
This trip is not suitable for camper trailers or “soft-roaders”. Call Nick on 9291 8303 for more information.
Shower and shower tent supplied (bring own water).
Depart Friday 5th December 2013 Pine Tree parking area on Forrest Hwy, 29.5 km past the Pinjarra turn off at 1.30pm.
Rates: $506.00 (includes GST) per vehicle.
